Made to Measure Quality Brass Plaques

This top-quality engravers brass is available in two thicknesses - An engraved brass plaque can be up to any size up to 24" (600mm). Lettering can be engraved, or, providing the letters are at least 10mm in height, they can be in-filled with one of our standard colours. We also engrave many traditional Brass Memorial Plaques often used on benches or on a tree stake as a grave marker

Chemically Etched Steel and Brass Plaques

Ideal for small text, images with fine detail, photos or if several colours are needed. The main benefit of chemical etching over standard engraving is no mechanical stress to the material and no cutter marks as the unwanted material is removed by chemicals, leaving clear, sharp, flat surface detail. Not as cost-effective for small engraved plaques unless there is a large amount of text.

Anodised Aluminium Plaques

These engraved memorial plaques are ideal where small, detailed text, images, or even photos are required. They are also maintenance-free. They are made from 1.5mm black, dark bronze or coloured anodised aluminium. The letters are engraved through the coloured layer to show the silver-white colour underneath. There is also a good range of backing boards, and  tree stakes to choose from

As we use a laser for this process the lettering can be very small if it is required. We can also use very detailed images, including line drawings and even good-quality photos

Superior Entrance Signs with Engraved Corian Insert

These entrance signs are beautifully crafted. The posts and  panel are solid hardwood. These can be natural oak finished with a tough satin finish varnish. Alternatively, they can be painted with a very hard-wearing polyurethane paint. A recess is carved into the timber, and a corian plaque is neatly inserted into it. The posts, panel and lettering do look very effective if all painted the same colour.

Deep Engraved Recycled PVC

This rugged material, designed as a commercial signage board, also makes excellent large house nameplates, entrance signs, or information signage. It is light yet hard, resilient and environmentally friendly. The surface is matt white new PVC, which covers a thick core of black recycled PVC. The material is 10mm thick and can be cut into any shape.

Sweet chestnut, often dubbed the "poor man's oak," is viewed by us as a good alternative to oak. Despite its similar appearance and dense grain, it boasts a high tannin content, rendering it highly durable. While not as structurally robust as oak, it serves superbly for wooden house signs. Basically it looks good for longer and is cheaper.
