Our entrance signs are beautifully handcrafted, combining traditional workmanship with durable modern materials. Each sign is made with solid oak posts and an inset corian plaque, creating a striking and long-lasting feature for any property.

The oak posts and frame can be finished in two ways:

• Natural Oak Finish – treated with a tough satin varnish to protect the timber while allowing the natural grain to shine through.

• Painted Finish – sprayed with high-performance polyurethane paint, mixed with a hardener for exceptional durability. Standard colours include Black and White, with additional choices of Cream, Mid Grey, Heritage Green, and Red.
  
  We can also match a range of Farrow & Ball shades (such as Estate No.84 Green Blue, Stiffkey Blue, Purbeck Stone, and Lichen) for just £5 extra. Any other F&B colours can be mixed to order (£55 per order, not per sign).

For our painted entrance signs, we also offer sapele, a dense and stable hardwood with minimal movement. This makes it an excellent choice for painted finishes, ensuring a smooth, long-lasting result.

The engraved corian plaque is recessed neatly into the oak or sapele frame. Corian is an extremely robust material that looks and feels like natural stone but is weatherproof and virtually maintenance-free. Your chosen lettering is engraved and painted, available in a wide choice of fonts and colours. Popular options include white, black, gold, silver, grey, and F&B Studio Green. For a bold effect, many customers choose to match the paint colour of the frame with the lettering, paired with a contrasting corian background for a truly eye-catching entrance sign.

These signs not only make a strong first impression but are also designed to last for many years, making them a superb investment for homes, farms, businesses, and estates.

Although we recommend using the corian we can also inlay natural slate.  Some people do prefer the slate with all its natural markings. - these can include quartz veins and pyrite.
