Timber Information

We use a variety of timbers to make our wooden signs. They all have their own unique character and look, but each has a different set of properties, making them useful in different situations. Each has advantages and disadvantages.

Table Name Signs

Our wedding table names are designed and made our Devon workshops, helping guests find their seats while adding a stylish finishing touch to your reception. Available in rustic wood, solid timber and acrylic, our personalised wedding table name signs are made to suit your theme, colours and venue, whether you’re planning a village hall, marquee or hotel wedding.

Cast Brass House Name Plates

Crafted from solid brass, these elegant house name plates offer a timeless and prestigious look. They can be finished in Black, Blue, Green or Maroon, with the raised polished brass lettering standing out beautifully against the painted background. Several lines of wording can be incorporated, by reducing the letter size. A house number can also be incorporated into the design instead of a decorative motifs.

For installation, we can also supply railing bars so the sign can be securely fixed to railings or a wrought iron gate, making them ideal for both homes and grand entrances.

Cast Aluminium House Signs

Made of solid aluminium. Several lines of wording can be incorporated by reducing the letter size. We can include a house number on your sign, or if required a hand painted motif can be included, to achieve a balanced appearance. All the signs have a durable baked finish. 

Horseshoe House Sign / Stable Name Plate

For distinctive house signs or stable name plates, choose our durable Cast Iron Horseshoe Signs. The sign's core is expertly molded in the classic shape of a horseshoe, providing a traditional and eye-catching way to identify your home or horses stable.

Sign Fittings

Stainless Steel Although stainless steel sign fittings and fixings are more expensive than the galvanised equivalents, they do not corrode over time. They will remain bright and shiny throughout the life of your sign.

Wrought Iron Our wrought iron work - fixings, brackets, tree stakes, railings bars, hooks and hangers is made by our blacksmith. It is all galvanised before being painted.

A-Boards with Poster Covers

These really good quality A-Boards are excellent pavement signs. They are very versatile too - they can be used as poster displays, blackboards, whiteboards or without the plexiglas cover as a simple A-Board. They are available with or without the header panel. If you opt for a header panel you will want to include your business name and logo. This can be created in simple cut vinyl or a full colour printed design.

Chalk Board Pavement Sign

A double sided chalk board pavement sign using traditional wood framed chalk boards with strong steel locking arm. The chalk surface is UV stable, weather & scratch resistant.  It is suitable for use with chalk or liquid chalk pens

The chalk board also has rubber feet, strong steel locking arm and a steel loop for security fixing.

The size of the chalk board panel is A1 ie 506mm x 841mm and the overall dimension is 715mm x 1200mm

Self Adhesive Cut Vinyl Lettering & Graphics

There are lots of colours of self adhesive vinyl all suitable for outdoor use. The vinyl can be cut into lettering and graphics to be used for wall words and quotes, wall art, vehicle graphics and vehicle art, window art and window signs as well as making up your own sign boards. Supplied on application tape to stick to most smooth surfaces.

Printed Stickers and Self Adhesive Signs

These self adhesive signs with a peel-off backing can be used to cover existing signs, apply to vehicles or on any smooth surface. We print photographs, graphics and lettering using a solvent ink printer onto self adhesive vinyl. The inks penetrate into the vinyl, and being UV stable are suitable for outdoor use. They are also laminated to extend lifespan.

Printed Full Colour PVC Banners

We can used our large format printer to print these banners. for outdoor use. The brass eyelets are placed at 500mm centres into the banner hem. We digitally print at high resolution using waterproof UV stable inks on quality 530gsm PVC. The banners are strong and the colours really vibrant.
