Made with natural slate with smooth, but not highly polished surface. The letters are normally painted black, silver, gold or white. For a more gentle natural effect we match Farrow & Ball Lichen - a pale green which looks lovely against the grey slate. Alternatively the background can be blasted away to leave raised numbers within a circle/oval or rectangle/square. The font used must be fairly bold without any fine lines. The numbers are left unpainted. Yet another option for a more contemporary look is to paint the surface using tough two pack paint and the laser into the slate. Very effective house number sign which can use any of our stock colours. This method is also useful where fine detail is required. |
