Tough Printed Anodised Aluminium - Anoprinting - Photo Memorials

Anodised aluminium really is tough stuff and this is what gives Anoprinted signs such a long life - the image is locked inside the hard anodised layer. Unlike surface printing or vinyl graphics, anoprinting cannot be picked or scraped off the surface. The anoprint is the surface and a very tough one at that. We believe it is the toughest colour printing around. Ideal for full colour information signs, photo memorials and name plates.

INDOOR SIGNS

Signs inside public buildings such as schools, courts and shopping centres can have a hard life. Some people love to pick off vinyl, thinking that scraping the images off signs with keys and coins is a good way to pass the time. Soon the signs become unsightly and need to be replaced. Anoprinted signs have a totally smooth surface that is easy to clean - there is nothing that can be removed. This ensures a long life where other types of signage would suffer badly. You have a choice of either matt or metallic satin finishes, we can advise which will best suit your design.

PHOTO MEMORIALS

In our digital age it is becoming increasingly popular to remember our loved ones with a photo memorial plaque.  All we need is a good colour photograph along with your words of remembrance to create a beautiful plaque. These plaques look really classy when mounted on a wooden backing board.

OUTDOOR SIGNAGE AND PLAQUES

These plaques stand up to a lot more than just a bit of weather. For most outdoor signs we apply a specially developed vandal resistant lacquer. This gives extra protection to the surface and the high gloss finish helps to keep the sign clean without maintenance. The photo quality digital technology reproduces stunning graphics, full colour photographs with amazing depth, maps and illustrations that blend beautifully into the surface. Traditionally these types of plaques would have to have been protected by laminating or a thick layer of plastic. With digital anoprinting you get crisp, clear graphics at the surface with excellent durability against rain, sun and vandalism.

Sizes and Prices

LETTERS We can print the lettering in a variety of fonts. A selection of fonts is shown on the right. For other fonts - click here. images aNd Photographs Good photographs and ready to print images are included in the price.   HOLES Holes can be drilled if required..

Wooden Backing Boards

We can supply wooden backing boards if required. They are usually made in Oak. However we do have Sapele (similar to mahogany) and Iroko (similar to teak). If you want a specific timber, please state on the order form.

As a standard we treat the boarding boards with Danish Oil. However we can also treat oak boards with a black preservative which looks stunning. For a more contemporary look we suggest using the black finish with a simple rounded edge to the board. Other treatments are medium oak wood preservative and seaside blue. - see right.
