Memorial Plaque on Wrought Iron Tree Stake

LETTERING
The letters are engraved using one of the our many fonts. Standard letter colours are white, black, Farrow & Ball Purbeck Stone (light grey), Farrow & Ball Lichen (light green). We have a number of other stock colours @ £5, along with memorial gold or silver @ £10. Memorial gold looks very similar to gold leaf

HOLES
Holes can be drilled if required at £3.50 for four.
If you wanted to fix 12mm corian directly to a tree stake we are able to embed stainless steel inserts into the corian and supply fixing bolts. £11 for one, £14.50 for two (£3.50 for each additional insert fitted)
We also have tree stakes with backing plates to which your memorial plaque can be attached with a super strong industrial tape.

We can include images on the memorial plaques. We have a large selection- Any of the single colour images can be used with this type of plaque. Its £14 for a standard image Or you can send in you own artwork @ £36

We offer full-colour anodized aluminum inserts, such as a 125 x 100 mm option for an additional £120, or a vibrant, weatherproof ToughPrint plaque measuring 100 x 200 mm for £108. What is a Corian memorial plaque?

A Corian memorial plaque is an engraved plaque made from a combination of acrylic resin, natural minerals and pigments. Corian has the weight, cool feel and matt appearance of stone, but has a very consistent surface which allows us to create crisp lettering and detailed engraved designs.

Is Corian suitable for an outdoor memorial plaque?

Yes. Corian is a durable, low-maintenance material and is an excellent choice for memorial plaques used outdoors. It does not have the natural cracks, fault lines or variations sometimes found in stone, making it a reliable material for long-lasting memorials.

Why choose Corian instead of natural stone?

Corian gives a stone-like appearance while allowing much finer engraving than many natural stones. Small lettering, detailed motifs and intricate images can be reproduced particularly well. It is also consistent throughout, without the natural flaws that can occasionally occur in slate or stone.

What thicknesses of Corian memorial plaque are available?

We make engraved Corian memorial plaques in both 6mm and 12mm thicknesses. The 12mm Corian has a more substantial appearance and is particularly suitable for larger plaques or memorials fitted to tree stakes.

Can you make a Corian memorial plaque to a custom size?

Yes. Corian can be cut to virtually any size, so you do not have to choose one of our standard dimensions. If you tell us the size and wording you require, we can provide a quotation.

Can Corian memorial plaques be made in different shapes?

Yes. As well as rectangular plaques, we can cut Corian into a range of shapes, including heart-shaped memorial plaques. Please contact us if you have a particular shape or design in mind.

What colours are available for Corian memorial plaques?

We offer a selection of Corian colours in both 6mm and 12mm thicknesses. These include stone-like colours as well as darker options which can give the appearance of slate. Available colours can change, so please see our current colour charts on this page.

What colours can the engraved lettering be?

Standard engraved lettering colours include white, black, light grey and light green. We also have additional stock colours, together with memorial gold and silver. Memorial gold gives an appearance very similar to traditional gold leaf.

Can I add an image or motif to a Corian memorial plaque?

Yes. Images can be engraved into the Corian as well as lettering. You can choose from our large collection of standard single-colour images, or send us your own artwork for us to reproduce where suitable.

Can a photograph be included on a Corian memorial?

Yes. We can incorporate a full-colour photograph into the Corian using a separate long-lasting photo plaque. Options include porcelain photographs, full-colour anodised aluminium and ToughPrint plaques, which can be inset neatly into the Corian memorial.

Can a Corian memorial plaque be fitted to a tree stake?

Yes. Wrought iron tree stakes are available for most plaque sizes. For 12mm Corian we can also embed stainless steel threaded inserts into the back of the plaque so that it can be securely bolted directly to a suitable tree stake. Alternatively, we offer stakes with backing plates to which the plaque can be attached.

Can you drill fixing holes in the plaque?

Yes. We can drill fixing holes into your Corian memorial plaque if required. Let us know how you intend to display or install the memorial and we can advise on the most suitable fixing method.
