We make the horse name plates for stable doors in several materials - three different timbers, engraved brass, acrylic laminate & aluminium, stone-like corian and a cast metal alloy.

Engraved Acrylic Laminate - Stable Name Plates
These are very durable signs made from 2 ply 3mm exterior grade flexible acrylic - weather proof and UV resistant. The letters are engraved through the first layer of laminate to show the colour underneath. Available in the following colours

Engraved Brass Horse Name Signs
We only use top quality engravers brass. Letters can be infilled white, black, blue, green, orange and red or left deep engraved but unpainted. There is a list a fonts at the bottom of this page. Line borders can be added at no extra cost. The disadvantage with brass is that it must be polished. Brass Cleaning

Wooden - Oak, Sapele and Iroko.
Wooden name plates can be made in three different timbers - Oak, Sapele (similar to mahogany) and Iroko (similar to teak) Iroko has the advantage that it is full of natural oil and can be left untreated.

Corian
Corian is a mixture of clear acrylic resin, natural minerals and pigments. The mineral content retains some of the properties of real stone such as the cold feel, matt finish and substantial weight. Unlike stone Corian is totally consistent with no variation in composition, fault lines or cracks throughout its features.

These plaques look smart and are are maintenance free. They are made from 1.5mm black anodised aluminium. The letters are engraved through the black layer of laminate to show the white/silver colour underneath. Can also include your own image and wording under the name if required. Although normally sold black, we do also stock blue, red and green.
