Inset Images on Stone Signs
Laser Etched and Hand Painted

This is a lovely technique where detailed images or fine text are required. The panel is actually inset into the stone. It is then taken to one of the lasered where even the finest detail can be etched into the panel. We can also use this technique where small text is required.

The panel can cover the most of the surface or just a smaller oval, round or rectangle. The panel colour can be white, silver, gold, cream or any one of our other lovely colours. The cost for this service is just £10 more than the normal image charge.

Ambers Art

These beautiful designs are hand painted by a local artist - Amber. The inlaid panel can be a matt stippled finished slate or it can be infilled with a colour and the design painted onto the colour panel. The colour would normally be the same as the paint filled carved lettering. Please note that each time the artist paints one of these standard images it will be slightly different.

To included one of these lovely images above the cost will be £48. For a new design of your choice the cost will be £64. Just let the artist have a photo or an image she can use to paint your unique design. These can be used on house signs or memorials.

Kirsties Pet Portraits

Kirstie works in our vinyl workshop but in her spare time she paints beautiful pet portraits. They look very effective on the slate but can be painted onto other materials too. The cost is £48 (incl VAT) Just send us the photo of your pet.

Kirstie also loves to paint other animals as well as butterflies and flowers.

If you can't find the image you want you can send in your own @£34.50 or ask the designer to find you a couple of options @ £24.50.
